The Special Edisons formed in Calgary, Alberta in the spring of 2010, united by their love of listening to Huevos Rancheros and Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet while eating Skittles in basements.

After some time honing their craft and writing some tasty surf jams, The Special Edisons made their live debut in September 2012, and have been playing to enthusiastic crowds throughout southern Alberta ever since, including shows with Edmonton’s Mad Bomber Society and Raygun Cowboys, and Calgary’s Big Winter Classic.
